What Is the Access After School Program?

The Access After School Program is a free, high-quality program offered at select Downey Unified School District schools. It provides a safe, supportive environment for students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade to learn, grow, and have fun after the regular school day ends.

“This program is priceless for us… I don’t know what I would do without the DFEO program—both the morning and the after-school program. My kids are so much more social now. They’re studying more, reading more, and doing amazing in school because of the program.”

— Rosie, DFEO Parent | Mother of Two Sons in Programming
