The Downey Foundation for Educational Opportunities (DFEO) policies and procedures ensure consistent and continuous dedication and involvement from students and parents in order to maintain a positive learning and teaching environment. By registering for a program at DFEO, parents and students agree to the policies and procedures stated in this webpage.

Registration is open to middle and high school students in DUSD and alumni of Downey or Warren band programs. However, only those ages 13-21 may perform. There is no audition or specific instrumentation required. We are looking for wind instruments, percussion and color guard performers. Registration will close June 1st.

In December of 2017, the Downey Unified All District Band made it's public debut in the Downey Holiday Lane Parade.
