Hello, I'm Vanessa Chavarria, and I've been deeply involved with the youth community in Downey for quite some time now. Starting my journey at DFEO in 2021 as a dedicated group leader, I've since been elevated to the position of Program Coordinator at Gauldin Elementary School.
With a background in child development, my true passion lies in working with students and motivating them to achieve their goals. At DFEO, we craft nurturing spaces for students to express themselves and unleash their creativity. We provide them with the necessary tools and opportunities to soar.
I'm excited to continue shaping the young minds in our community. In my free time, you'll find me indulging in cake decorating, going on outdoor adventures, and spending quality time with family.

Hola, soy Vanessa Chavarria y he estado profundamente involucrada con la comunidad juvenil de Downey desde hace bastante tiempo. Comencé mi viaje en DFEO en 2021 como líder de grupo dedicado y desde entonces fui ascendido al puesto de Coordinador de Programa en la Escuela Primaria Gauldin.
Con experiencia en desarrollo infantil, mi verdadera pasión radica en trabajar con los estudiantes y motivarlos para que logren sus metas. En DFEO, creamos espacios enriquecedores para que los estudiantes se expresen y den rienda suelta a su creatividad. Les proporcionamos las herramientas y oportunidades necesarias para volar.
Estoy entusiasmado de seguir moldeando las mentes jóvenes de nuestra comunidad. En mi tiempo libre, me encontrarás decorando pasteles, realizando aventuras al aire libre y pasando tiempo de calidad con la familia.
