Downey Unified All District Band
The Downey Unified All-District Band was formed in an effort to combine the talent throughout Downey and unite our students through music and performance. The vision is for this group to perform in high visibility parades and events such as the Rose Parade, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Presidential Inauguration Parades, London New Year's Eve Parade, Portland Rose Festival Parade and many more. The next scheduled performance will be in the Summer of 2019 at the Pacific Palisades 4th of July Parade. For more information please visit www.dusdband.net.
El Downey Unified All District Band se formó en un esfuerzo para combinar el talento en Downey y unir a nuestros estudiantes a través de la música y el rendimiento. La visión es que este grupo se presente en desfiles y eventos de gran visibilidad como el Rose Parade, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Presidential Inauguration Parades, London New Year's Eve Parade, Portland Rose Festival Parade y muchos más. Registration is open to middle and high school students in DUSD and alumni of Downey or Warren band programs. However, only those ages 12-21 may perform. There is no audition or specific instrumentation required. We are looking for wind instruments, percussion and color guard performers.

On July 4th, 2018 the Downey Unified All District Band performed in the Pacific Palisades 4th of July Parade. Approximately 280 students representing Warren, Downey, Doty, Sussman, Griffiths and Stauffer, proudly marched down Sunset Blvd helping parade viewers celebrate the 4th of July and spreading good cheer about the Downey Unified School Distrcit and City of Downey. The band was well received. It was a great day to be part of the DUADB!
